The famous “diminishing” map of Palestine picture is factually false. It does not factor in the existence of Jews in Israel prior to 1948. It also tries to claim Palestine was a sovereign state of its own when it was actually only a province of the Ottoman Empire and later of the British Mandate where both Jews and Arabs resided. There was never a sovereign Palestinian country, so this map is extremely misleading.
