Essentially, Hamas seems to employ strategies that increase civilian casualties to advance their global narrative, even reportedly threatening civilians who attempt to seek safety elsewhere. This blatant disregard for civilian life underlines the tragic reality faced by the residents of Gaza under Hamas’s rule.
