Is the BBC a reliable source of reporting on the Hamas-Israel conflict?

Short answer

If you get your info from the BBC, just wait a few days for the correction. They have done that several times already since the start of the latest war!

Long answer

No, it is not. Numerous news stories have been refuted just a few days after the BBC items were broadcast. This has led to a formal apology on air by the BBC on several occasions. They were also one of a minority of news agencies in the world that refused to call Hamas terrorists (even though the British government designated Hamas as a terrorist organization), and in general their reporting is extremely biased in favor of Hamas.

How many times can the BBC be caught in a lie before it becomes clear that lying is a policy?
