Long answer
Let’s be clear—the claim that Israel actively kills Palestinians to harvest their skin and organs is completely false. Israel does not harvest organs from any deceased, whether Israelis or Palestinians, without the consent of the families of the deceased. There is no evidence that Israel has ever killed Palestinians with the purpose of taking their organs. It was revealed over a decade ago that in the 1990s, specialists at the Abu Kabir Forensic Institute harvested body parts from Israeli soldiers, Israeli citizens, Palestinians and foreign workers, often without permission from relatives, for a short period of time. The Israeli military confirmed that organ harvesting took place, but that it ended in the 1990s. Since then, Israel’s health ministry said that Abu Kabir has been working according to ethics and Jewish law. Taken out of this context, saying Israel kills Palestinians to harvest their skin and organs is antisemitic blood libel.
